Houston Tattoo Photographer
As a Houston tattoo photographer, I’m sometimes contacted by HTX tattoo artists, tattoo models, social media influencers, and regular folks who want their ink documented.
I’m also available as an event photographer for conventions and conferences where artists need their work documented in a dynamic setting. The photos can then be used in the artist’s shop or online as sales tools that highlight their craft.
As a Houston portrait photographer, I’m also sometimes hired for editorial photography, where print and online publications seek me out to photograph a tattooed subject for their next feature.
My fees for tattoo photography are the same as my portrait photography pricing, so you’ll pay reasonable rates that won’t break the bank.
My Tattoo
I understand the importance of documenting and commemorating tattoos. I had my United States Marine Corps tattoo done in the early 1990s after I returned from Desert Storm.
My design features an anthropomorphic, helmeted bulldog holding an M-16 rifle and a grenade in front of an American flag. It had incredible details, shading, and seven colors, but I never photographed it. Ironic, right?
Today, 35+ years later, my tattoo is blurring and fading and is now almost unrecognizable because of weather exposure and skin aging. And I have no photographs to show how awesome it was back in the day.
Don’t be like me. Get great photos of your tattoos before it’s too late!
