It’s also smart to include video in your marketing plan if you use social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok that prioritize video content.

If you have a complicated product or service, videos help viewers understand its complexities more easily than photography or text alone.

However, you should know that good videos are as expensive as good photography. If you can’t set aside monies for a competitive budget, eschewing all video might be preferable so you can avoid low-quality video that might hurt more than help.

As Yoda said, “Do or do not. There is no try.”

They’re synonymous with the same meaning in the commercial videography space. Folks who use the word filmmaker might do so because they think the word elevates their brand.

In some cases, “Filmmaker” is the more appropriate title, especially when the creator produces narrative films and documentaries or manages scriptwriting, directing, cinematography, and post-production.

Your needs will vary widely depending on your final desired deliverables and your product, service, or event. We require a 4-hour minimum for videography, but you can hire us for extended overtime hours over multiple days.

We’re usually hired for either 4-hour or 8-hour video projects.

We charge what we charge based on our skills, equipment, market forces, and which way the wind blows on a Tuesday afternoon.

We provide both in-studio and on-location commercial video services.

We work both collaboratively and separately depending on what we’re covering, the subject matter needs, and your project goals.

I’ll oversee your video coverage because my name is on the final product, and I only deliver excellence. Although I won’t stand over my videographer’s shoulder, I’ll periodically review footage in real-time and make sure your project goals are met.

Absolutely! When you choose your music, we’ll send you to SoundStripe and MotionArray so you can select licensed music. Licenses must be provided for the music we include in our deliverables.

We can include voiceovers for your video as an additional option. Provide us with your voiceover audio, or we’ll direct you to talented voiceover artists who can help.

We use a single videographer with a single camera setup for most of our commercial, industrial, and event videos.

However, if your project demands multiple cameras or additional camera operators, we have the staff and equipment you’ll want to see when we capture your project visuals. Just let us know what you need!

B-roll footage refers to supplemental footage that supports the main footage (sometimes called A-roll).

For example, if we’re covering a trade show, A-roll footage might include interviews with booth visitors, while B-roll footage might show people walking through the convention center.

Our video teams have the top-tier professional lighting gear you expect on a high-end commercial or industrial product. However, most of our video projects use available light only, which provides a natural look that’s popular in today’s advertising.

At a high level, color grading is a process by which consistency is improved as color imbalances are addressed and color correction is performed.

On a more granular level, color grading can adjust brightness, contrast, hues, saturation, and shadows to create a unique tone or atmosphere.

Unless otherwise requested, all video production is delivered in h.264 MOV format at 4K resolution.

Every video project where editing is selected includes up to two revisions after the first draft delivery.

Certainly. I’ll probably never tell you “no,” but I’ll sometimes tell you how much.

We’ll include your logo, graphics, and brand colors wherever possible. Sometimes, that might consist of intros, outros, and watermarks before, during, and after the video.

We’ll also include brand sounds when you have them and pick music complementary to your brand. We’ll also use your own locations like offices, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, or industrial spaces.

This is one of those “it depends” answers. The ideal length will depend on the video’s purpose, audience, and the platform where it’s shared.

Most clients choose a 30-second or one-minute edited video, but we can provide you with any length you desire. I prefer 30-second videos given most viewer’s limited attention spans.

RAW video is typically delivered within 1-7 days, while edited videos are delivered within 7-28 days. Rush services are also available for an additional fee.

Our equipment is top-tier and we use the latest innovative video and audio capture technologies, including AI.

Our drone equipment can take 20MB still photographs and up to 5.1K video resolution when performing aerial coverage.

Ground footage is provided by equipment capable of 6K resolution.
