Houston Parade Photographer

I am a Houston parade photographer who photographs the Rodeo Parade, Art Car Parade, St. Patrick’s Parade, Pride Parade, Thanksgiving Day Parade, and the H-Town Christmas Parade.

As a Houston event photographer, one of my favorite jobs is parade photography. It’s challenging work, but it’s incredibly rewarding. And with this being my favorite work, it’s guaranteed that you’ll receive amazing photographs.

Whether you need overall coverage of an entire parade or photography documenting your company or organization’s participation, I have the experience and motivation to provide you with better-than-good event photography.

I’ll typically begin coverage by photographing the line-up area, where floats, bands, and participants get organized before the parade. When I work with your organization, I’ll usually spend that getting-ready time with your parade participants and photograph them in groups and as individuals. And if you have a float, I’ll cover that as well.

Later, right before the parade begins, I usually walk to the parade route start and cover most participants as they reach that area. If I work with your company or organization, I’ll stay in that location until you arrive, and then I’ll stay with you for the rest of the parade. If I cover the entire parade, I’ll move down the route after four or five floats or groups have passed.

During the parade, I’ll run in front of your float or group, behind your float or group, and on your float or move among your group, photographing your participants and parade viewers lining the roads. If you have throws you’re sharing with the crowds, I’ll be right in the mix, making sure I capture the joy of the givers and receivers.

If you have a float, I’ll climb up there a few times as you transit the parade route so I can take photographs that document your participants’ views.

I’m fit enough and strong enough to walk and run along the entire parade route carrying two heavy cameras while creating dynamic event photography that will meet your internal and external publishing needs.
