4K Resolution
Unless you request an alternative, our videos are delivered in 4K resolution. That’s the perfect format for most projects.
Depending on the project and the video capture device, we record most footage at 6K and then downsample it to 4 K. Most people can’t tell the difference between 4K and 8K at normal viewing distances, even on the largest screens.
4K is the preferred resolution for today’s video content, and that’s why we include it when we deliver your edited videos.
The native 4 K video dimensions are 3840 x 2160, which translates to a 16:9 panoramic aspect ratio. The trade-off when choosing 4K video vs. Full HD 1080p (1920×1080) is that the image quality is better, but the file sizes are larger.
