Houstonian Hotel Photographer
I am a Houstonian Hotel photographer who photographs corporate events and parties in the Grande Ballroom, Forest Ballroom, Manor House, and under their famous Texas Live Oak tree.
The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa is best known for The Houstonian Club, a 175,000-square-foot fitness center, but I spend most of my time there as an event photographer working in their meeting spaces.
The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa is located at 111 N Post Oak Ln, Houston, TX 77024, on twenty-seven mostly wooded acres.
Although I’ve photographed weddings at this hotel venue, corporate event photography is my mainstay. Although most conferences are held in one of the ballrooms, smaller events are often held in the Manor House.
Manor House events typically include coverage in the indoor bar area. I don’t know if you’ve read up on the home’s history, but it’s one of the most famous Houston homes.
It was designed in 1955 by architect John F. Staub for Texas oilman Lawrence Reed, but it later became the official residence of President George H.W. Bush during his tenure as both CIA Director and Vice President.
While most event guests today enjoy cocktails and passed hors d’oeuvres in the venue’s Botanical Room, that room became famous in 1990 as the location where then President Bush signed treaties during the 16th G-7 Economic Summit.
If you have time during your event coverage for outdoor activities away from the ballrooms or the Manor House Event Lawn, consider walking over to the famous 300-year-old Texas Live Oak tree for some photographs. And don’t miss it at night when it’s lit with thousands of twinkling lights!
If you’re looking for an event photographer familiar with both the venue and the grounds and who also has all the photography chops you’ll ever need, please contact me today!
