Houston LGBT+ Wedding Photographer
Some Houston wedding vendors don’t support marriage equality or the LGBT+ community. I’m here to ensure that you win, and they won’t.
I’m not proclaiming #loveislove or #lovewins—because duh. Instead, I publicly support inclusivity, gender equality, and marriage equality. And I furiously challenge homophobia, biphobia, and transphobia. Gender identities, gender expressions, and sexual orientations matter. I want you to be yourself and embraced for who you are—always.
I’ve been photographing LGBT+ weddings since 2011, and I want to be your wedding photographer, too. Elopements are also awesome!
Although I’m a fan of super-long acronyms, LGBTTQQIAAP (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, transsexual, queer, questioning, intersex, asexual, ally, pansexual) is pretty lengthy. So, if it’s OK with you, I’m going to shorten that to LGBT+ in conversation and print–even though all the letters are equally important.
Also, whether you identify as cisgender, nonbinary, transgender, agender, genderfluid, or third-gender, I’ll always ask about your pronouns. Let me know if you identify best with she|her|hers, he|him|his, they|their|them, ze|zir|zis|zieself, or ey|em|eir. Or any other pronouns.
And since I’m human, if I slip and make a pronoun mistake, please correct me—so I can stop being stupid. Nobody likes stupid.
I’ve photographed public LGBT+ couples, private LGBT+ couples, and even celebrity LGBT+ couples like Sean Hayes and Scott Icenogle. But whether you’re public, private, or a celebrity, know that I’m sensitive to your sensibilities and can’t wait to photograph you next.
Most importantly, I want you to know that you’ll feel safe when you’re being photographed. We’ll plan it that way. I want you to be relaxed and natural with your partner—never awkward or uncomfortable.
Please know that I’m not just clicking checkboxes and optimizing my website for inclusive keywords like “same-sex wedding photographer” or “gay wedding photographer.”
Instead, I’m your supportive ally and unapologetic cheerleader. Everyone should express love openly and often. And I want to capture your love through my photography. LGBT-friendly? Hell yes!
